U.S. actor and producer Cameron Arnett has become known as the actor who chose Christ over Career. In the early '90s he walked away from a starring role in an NBC prime time series refusing to do partial body nudity. He is currently the founder of Christ Over Career, a movement of believers who've chosen to make the same decision in their industries.
After being away from Hollywood for two decades, Cameron returned to the big screen in 2013 with a commitment to making quality content. He is widely known for his role as Thomas Hill in the Kendrick Brother's Overcomer and Joe Anderson in Jared O'Flaherty's Vindication Season 2. Both are available on multiple streaming platforms, one of which is Pure Flix, the #1 Christian Video on Demand streaming service.
Pure Flix subscribers have undoubtedly seen Cameron's work on the platform this year. Apart from Overcomer and Vindication, Discarded Things, Tulsa, The Challenger Disaster, The Big Fix, Treasure Lies, and Champion all feature Arnett and are available on the Pure Flix.
The Arnett/Pure Flix connection continues to expand. In February of this year, Cameron and co-star Jennifer Taylor filmed Saved by Grace, a SkipStone Pictures produced PureFlix Movies Original TV Series.
Production updates are still under wraps. It was released however that this dynamic cast and crew wrapped in Betonville, Arkansas during the snow storm of 2022. Hats off for the completion of this project in chilling temps and 9 inches of snow!
Soon after, Cameron shot Christmas Angel (formerly Celeste's First Christmas), directed by Josh Menning and co-starring Karen Abercrombie of War Room, coming to PureFlix in 2022.
In a recent interview with Pure Flix Insider Cameron shared the legacy of faith he's leaving behind which is the motivation behind his drive. He shared the following with host Billy Hallowell:
"I want to do people good. I want to be a Christ-like person to humanity. I see myself as someone who wants to bring a dignity back to the realm of acting as a Christian."
